deputy minister of health igor ivaschenko said at a briefing.
according to him, in the near future 9,000 pharmacies will be able to issue prescriptions in electronic form for more than 1,000 antibiotics.
"this will allow the ministry of health to ensure the rational dispensing and use of antimicrobial drugs. at the same time, we understand that a significant number of pharmacies do not have this opportunity to join the dispensing of drugs by electronic prescription. such institutions will be allowed to use paper prescriptions. ", - said ivaschenko.
he also added that such a system will work until the end of 2021. in order to receive an electronic prescription for an antibiotic, the patient will have to go to the family doctor. after that you will receive an sms with the number of the electronic prescription.
