
russian president vladimir putin held telephone conversations on monday and tuesday with armenian prime minister nikol pashinyan and president of azerbaijan ilham aliyev. the press service of the kremlin reported on november 24.
it is indicated that the leaders of the three countries discussed the implementation of the agreements on the settlement in nagorno-karabakh and the results of the trip of the russian interdepartmental delegation to baku and yerevan.
"the results of the november 21 trip to yerevan and baku of the russian interagency delegation, as well as the implementation of the provisions of the statement of the leaders of the three countries of november 9, were discussed in detail," the statement says.
the kremlin added that "the modalities of the work of russian peacekeepers in the nagorno-karabakh region and further steps to provide humanitarian assistance to the population were considered."
the issues of economic interaction and unblocking of transport communications in the region were also discussed.
